Our client is a national training provider, based in Liverpool, Merseyside for the retail industry and needed to dominate search results pages in both organic and paid-for search results for a handful of highly specific keyphrases.
We advised a 12 month search engine martketing campaign preceded by the construction of a new website and ecommerce facility undertaken by a separate agency.
The organic campaign focused on careful on-page optimisation. The ppc campaign required aggressive bid management and geographical targeting. CL5 achieved a Top 5 natural search results ranking in Google for all five keywords, 40k page views per month and ecommerce sales from zero to 5 figures pcm.

The personal injury claims sector is one of the most competitive pay-per-click markets in the UK with average CPC bids upwards of 10, 20, 30 pounds - per click.
Our client was a large firm of solicitors with an established brand and trusted regional positioning looking to increase its share of claim referrals from its website.
CL5 initially set up a conversion tracking utility and created bespoke landing pages for each specific area of claims business. By segmenting the ad campaign and site structure at the start this made reporting the effectiveness of the ppc campaign straightforward and more powerful.
As an agency/client partnership we could exactly track which ad generated each lead, and thereby calculate an accurate Cost Per Acquisition from which to manage future marketing activity; particularly important in such an expensive market.

Our client is a small firm of building industry professionals who initially were looking for a simple site maintenance retainer.
It became clear from our research that there was real opportunity in this market to establish the practice in a very strong ranking position in Google for a range of sector keywords.
We advised a site re-design plus a programme of modest on-page optimisation work and regular content amends. After 6 months, 80% of the search phrases used to find the site in Google are from our agreed, core descriptive keywords and the client has a degree of expectation of sales referrals from the web that far outstripped their original intentions.
